Diablo 4, before spending your remaining playtime chasing
D4 items, take a look at your Season Rank progress and decide what you can realistically finish. The track has nine ranks and more than 125 objectives, with progress shared across seasonal characters. Some goals require the Lord of Hatred expansion, including objectives needed to complete the eighth rank. If you don't own it, check the requirements before committing to a long grind. There's plenty to earn along the way, even if the full track is out of reach.
Don't Wait for the Last Day The supplied season schedule doesn't include a confirmed end date for Season 15. It lists a September 15 launch and a Season 16 test realm running from October 27 to November 3, but a test isn't a launch announcement. Keep an eye on the Reliquary countdown when you log in, and claim unlocked rewards rather than leaving them sitting there. The free track includes a horse, mount armor, three weapons and a Town Portal. Give yourself a little breathing room before any announced closing time, too; maintenance can interrupt those last-minute plans.
Pick the Rewards Worth Your Time Season Rank offers a sizeable haul: 14 Skill Points, 42 Paragon Points, 10 Resplendent Sparks, five Mythic Unique caches, a Dark Wanderbear pet and a mount trophy. The early ranks involve Waking Nightmare Capstones at increasing difficulty, while the eighth asks you to defeat Echo of Mephisto on Torment X. That's a tough ask if your build isn't ready. Check your Season Journey as well. A nearly completed chapter may take less time than your next Rank objective, so knock out the quick wins first. Use your strongest character for the harder fights; another can earn Favor through ordinary play.
Plan for the Move to Eternal Seasonal characters move to the Eternal Realm when the season ends, but a fresh seasonal character won't start with their gold, materials or gear. If you're planning to play the next season from scratch, farming gold now won't give that new character a head start. Rebirth is another option: it turns an Eternal character into a seasonal one at level 1 while keeping the character's class, name and appearance. You'll need to remove equipped gear and empty the inventory first. Sort your stash before making that decision, and remember that a fallen Hardcore character won't return at the season rollover.
Make the Remaining Sessions Count Start by claiming anything you've already unlocked. Then look at your unfinished Splinter goals, Waking Nightmare objectives and the Rank rewards within reach. Hardcore players should weigh each attempt carefully, especially when a difficult boss stands between them and a reward. And if you're browsing
D4 items cheap, remember that purchases aren't a substitute for claiming seasonal rewards before they expire. Keep an eye out for an official end-date announcement, and leave the last day for small tasks rather than a fight you haven't prepared for.
