Brandon Johnson’s NFL story includes one of those plays football fans remember for its sheer improbability. In 2023, while playing for Denver, he caught a deflected Hail Mary against Washington as time expired. That season also brought four touchdown receptions, including a 50-yard score against the Commanders. After several stops around the league, Johnson returned to Pittsburgh, adding another chapter to his professional journey.
The Brandon Johnson Jersey offers Steelers fans a way to recognize a receiver whose career has taken a less predictable route than most. Undrafted out of UCF in 2022, Johnson made his name through opportunities earned after joining Denver, where his college production—11 touchdown catches in his lone season at UCF—had hinted at his scoring potential.
For fans who enjoy the stories behind the names on a roster, Johnson’s path makes this jersey an individual choice rather than another pick built around a superstar. It represents a career shaped by changing teams, brief openings, and moments that can happen when the ball takes an unexpected bounce.
