Forensic Document Examiner, Pittsburgh | Philadelphia
I am often retained (both nationally and internationally) by law firms, government agencies, insurance companies, banking institutions and other private entities to handle a wide variety of issues involving the authenticity of documents, writings and signatures (i.e. anonymous letters, wills and other testamentary documents, medical records, insurance policy forms, deeds and mortgages, checks and banking transaction documents, threatening letters, contracts and agreements).
I have vast experience handling all types of issues related to forensic document examination; including handwriting and signature analysis, electronic signature verification and non-destructive ink and indentation analysis. My fully equipped laboratory contains sophisticated Video Spectral Equipment to conduct non-destructive infrared and ultra-violet examinations of inks, papers and other materials; Electrostatic Detection Equipment to visualize, and develop, indented writings (either visible or latent) appearing on the surface of documents, as well as a variety of other specialized lighting and laboratory instrumentation, including stereoscopic binocular microscopes, to conduct any type of microscopic analysis that may be necessary.
I am court qualified in State, Federal and International Courts. Much of my courtroom success begins with producing, and presenting, the highest quality court graphics to assist judges, juries and arbitration panels in clearly understanding the basis of my findings in every matter. I take great pride in the reputation that my firm has built over the years by producing extremely effective demonstrative court exhibits.
