In a 2012 case involving police misconduct, Harris v. City of Los Angeles, a Los Angeles Superior Court jury awarded his client $1,686,00.00 in compensatory and punitive damages on behalf of a disabled man who was subjected to excessive force by the LAPD. He also obtained a $2.1 million jury verdict on behalf of a woman whose civil rights were violated in the case of Benham v. Walgreens et al. In 2013, he achieved a $1.2 million verdict on behalf of two asylum applicants who were subjected to quid pro quo demands for sex and money by an asylum officer. In 2014, he achieved a $1.5 million defamation verdict on behalf of a transplant surgeon who made ethical complaints. In 2016, he achieved a $7.4 million verdict in a workplace violence retaliation case.
