The early-to-midgame transition can expose a resource bottleneck: spending MP freely on an Orange Slime may leave less flexibility for later fights, even when the event target is manageable. Slime Attack rewards preparation more than flashy damage; its payoff depends on reaching a spawn, surviving, and keeping useful drops. For players weighing seasonal farming against normal progression, MS Classic World Mesos belongs in the wider economy discussion, but the event's confirmed value is its candies, not an assumed sale price.

Scheduled from October 28 through November 18, 2026, Slime Attack is open to characters at Level 10 or above. Orange Slimes are listed in Henesys, Ellinia, Kerning City, and Perion. These are places to check, not a promise of continuous spawns: no fixed appearance interval or drop rate is confirmed. Check the live event notice and start in the nearest town instead of travelling on assumption.

That distinction shapes the activity. It is a PvE loop: locate an event monster, defeat it, then decide whether the reward serves your current plan. No PvP benefit is confirmed, so competitive players should treat Slime Attack as a side activity rather than a route to an unverified advantage.

Build For The Encounter

At Level 10, efficient play matters more than building around an unconfirmed specialty. Use an attack that defeats the target safely without automatically spending the MP cost of the strongest skill. Save the more expensive option for moments when it changes the encounter, and arrive with enough supplies instead of depending on a drop.

Recovery choices depend on need: Red Malady's Candy restores 600 HP, Blue Malady's Candy restores 450 MP, and Green Malady's Candy restores 300 HP and 300 MP. Their effects are fixed, so check your current resources before using one.

- Use Red Malady's Candy when HP loss makes its 600-point recovery worthwhile.

- Choose Blue Malady's Candy after spending enough MP to make its recovery useful.

- Save Green Malady's Candy for a situation where both HP and MP need attention.

All three are tradable and permanent, giving them longer utility than Halloween Candies. Using one near full health or mana wastes part of its listed effect.

Route For Better Farming

Efficient farming starts with route discipline. Four towns are possible destinations, but that does not mean Orange Slimes spawn continuously. Center a session on the closest practical town and judge progress by actual encounters, not hoped-for timing.

Check the live event notice and choose the nearest listed town before travelling.
Use an MP-conscious attack, then check whether the target left useful drops.
Review your inventory before moving again, especially when collecting for Malady's quest.

Keep Halloween Candies for the quest: they are untradeable, expire at the end of the event, and count toward Malady's Halloween Candies collection. No fixed amount per kill is confirmed, so anyone pursuing the 100-candy objective should track the actual inventory total. Changing towns because of an assumed drop rate adds travel without proving better progress.

Plan Beyond The Event

Early-game characters below Level 10 should continue with suitable early monsters until they qualify; visiting a town does not change the minimum. At Level 10 and above, the event can fit a short PvE session, especially when the collection quest is a goal. Mid-game players can treat the 100-candy target as a measured side objective rather than expecting a set number of fights to complete it. Late-game players may value permanent recovery items, but should weigh them against other progression priorities.

PvP-focused players have no confirmed competitive benefit to pursue here. The activity may still suit them if they want the listed recovery items or quest candy, but it is not evidence of a PvP upgrade. Long-term value depends on the item: keep permanent recovery candies for a real HP or MP need, and prioritize quest candies during the event because they expire and cannot be traded.

Slime Attack's best return is targeted, not automatic. Take the nearest route, spend only the MP needed, and distinguish temporary Halloween Candies from permanent recovery items. If broader currency planning also matters, cheap GMSCW Mesos can remain a separate consideration; it does not change the confirmed event details. Join when the candy objective serves a clear purpose, then return to ordinary progression when it no longer does.
